In places such as America the debs is pretty much identical to "prom" its basically an excuse for the whole school year to hang out together for the last time and get all dressed up which surprisingly the lads seem to love just as much as the girls !
I was literally looking forward for the night since I was tiny, its always been something I have looked forward to but I never actually thought it would be my time to go.
Since I had been to Paris a few times this year and I was scheduled to go over in the summer I made it my priority when I was going over to get my dress there.......and let me tell you it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.
So everyone knows Paris is a fashion capital but as its main fashion focus is on high end designers getting a dress which didn't cost as much as every possession I own was difficult to say the least!Finally on day 3/4 I found my dress in the famous Gallery Lafayette (photographed left) which I got lost in about fifty times throughout the day let me tell you.
My dress: was made by Parisian label Mes Demoiselles which I automatically loved because of its simple but unusual appearance in the store,
My headband:Was purchased in Gallery 9 a boutique in Naas Co.Kildare Ireland which has become extremely popular nationwide for its amazing designer clothing and accessories.The boutique was recently short listed in the top 10 "The Irish Times"best boutique category 2014 which pretty much speaks for itself.

The headband I choose was perfect for my dress and really assisted in finishing off my over all look I had in mind,The headbands range in price from around 45/170 euro and are specially hand crafted in India.
My clutch which was a vintage inspired square clutch was purchased in reliable Penneys/Primark for 11 euro which was an absolute steal!Overall It was a night not to forget ....the dress is in the dry cleaners fingers crossed the 7up stains come out ;)
Makeup: So despite the fact I love doing my own makeup I couldn't resist but get my makeup done by the one and only Makeup by Merry.I've literally been going to Mary to get my makeup done since I was too young to even wear makeup.
